Serial numbers are found on white or silver stickers on the machine. They are found in a few different places depending on the type of machine.


For machines with stablizers, such as IC, upright, or recumbent bikes, the serial number is on top or under one of the stabilizers (usually the front one).

Treadmills:

Treadmills will usually have the serial number at the front of the treadmill, under the motor cover or on the motor cover.

On the left side frame where the upright mounts meet the base of the treadmill.

Bikes

A white or silver sticker on the main frame at the rear of the machine above the rear stabilizer.

Cross Trainers

The serial number may be on the main bracket on a white or a silver sticker at the rear of the machine, or The serial number may be on a white or a silver sticker on the main frame towards the rear of the pedal arm (left or right).

NordicTrack

The location of the serial number decal is indicated on the front cover of your owner’s manual. The serial number and the model number may also be found on the original box of the machine.

Treadmills

Spacesaver Models
Fold treadmill into upright position. There will be a white or a silver decal located on the frame in one of the following positions:
  • On the right side opposite the power cord.
  • Inside of the upright base on the right side of the treadmill.
Regular Models
The serial number may be located on a white or a silver decal in one of the following positions:
  • Below the power cord on a white or a silver decal.
  • On the right hand corner at the base of the treadmill.
  • On the left side frame of the treadmill where the upright mounts to the bottom frame at base of treadmill.

Systems

The serial number on a system may be located in two locations:
  • On a white or a silver decal on the main frame under the seat or the backrest.
  • On a white or a silver decal on the main frame along the floor.

Bikes

There are three possible locations for a serial number on an exercise bike. These are:
  • Look for a white or silver decal on the base frame at the rear of the bike.
  • On a white or a silver decal on the tube that connects to the seat post of the bike.
  • On a white or a silver decal on the main frame under the seat.

Steppers

The most common place to find your model and serial number is on a white or a silver sticker on the bottom of the upright bar that holds the monitor. You will also want to look at the vertical, main frame bar that lays parallel to the floor.

Ellipticals

The model number and serial number on an elliptical machine can be found in one of three places:
  • The serial number may be on the main bracket on a white or a silver sticker at the rear of the elliptical machine.
  • The serial number may be on a white or a silver sticker on the main frame under the left pedal arm.
  • The model number and serial number decal may be located on the inside of the bottom main frame under the pedal arms.

Precor

Precor serial numbers are almost always on a white label below a black barcode (similar in appearance to a UPC code). Depending on the date of manufacture, the serial number is an alphanumeric combination that is either 10 or 13 characters long. This serial number is in different locations depending on the type of equipment you own.

Treadmills:

The serial number is on the label near the power cord entry and on the frame under the left rear of the treadmill. Certain older treadmills will have the serial number on the center cross beam under the deck or on the hood (or under the hood on the frame).

Ellipticals:

The serial number can be located either at the rear of the equipment near the on/off switch on a white sticker with a bar code, or on the frame located under the hood.

Bikes:

The serial number is either on the bottom of the frame (viewing of this requires laying the equipment on its side) or on the rear of the frame near the floor.
